Finding the right photographer for your wedding can be a daunting task. Every photographer has their own style and personality, which are reflected in the images they produce for you.

Photography is able to capture a moment in time, allowing you to relive it, and the feelings you experienced, over and over again.  This is what drew me to photography over 2 decades ago. I feel that photography should tell a story that is true to the events and moments they capture. Much like the styles we wear, fads come and go in photography, and I’ve found the honesty of the old school, journalistic approach to photography is timeless.  

When I shoot photos, I aim to capture the beauty of the moment as it is, rather than some sugar-coated, superimposed image that is manufactured to look good on social media. When you look back at your wedding photos years down the road, you want to feel what you felt on the day; the love, the happiness, the whirlwind of chaos.  If you choose to work with me, I will work hard to capture your special day, as it happened, in all it’s loving beauty. I will use my years of experience, technical know-how, high end equipment, and trained eye to tell the story of your wedding.

I will capture the story on high resolution digital cameras as well as tangible, beautiful, long lasting film.  As a photographer, when you must slow down to manually focus and expose the image on film, you start to see the details you may otherwise miss, and that is evident in my images.  I feel we can all benefit, if we slow down, and enjoy what is real in our world.
